Natural stone – a new chapter in Architype's portfolio
References
In response to growing market demand and feedback from our clients and partners, we are expanding our portfolio to include natural stone. This new category features timeless, elegant, and durable materials that will perfectly complement our existing range of large ceramic slabs, acrylic solid surfaces, quartz surfaces and HPL slabs. This allows us to better respond to the needs of architects, designers and investors, offering them a wide range of solutions for even the most demanding projects.
Why Natural Stone?
Natural stone has been considered synonymous with luxury and durability for centuries. Its greatest value is its uniqueness, as each block and slab features a one-of-a-kind pattern, colour, and texture that cannot be replicated by industrial materials. This gives projects using natural stone an individual character and gives investors the certainty that they are getting something absolutely unique. Something that no one else has, because in nature, no two stones are identical. Natural stone is also a symbol of tradition, luxury and prestige. Known and used since ancient times, it has survived in the form of temples, palaces and sculptures, which continue to delight visitors from all over the world to this day.
Natural stone in the Architype range – an overview
The newly introduced collection includes a wide selection of stones that have inspired architects, craftsmen and artists for centuries. The range includes marble, granite, quartzite, onyx and travertine, the characteristics of which are described below.
Marble
Marble is one of the most recognisable materials found in nature. For centuries, it has been considered a unique stone, a material from which the greatest works of art and architecture have been created. Its characteristic veining and subtle colours make each slab look like a natural painting. Marble has always been associated with luxury and prestige, and today, in addition to museums and temples, it is equally at home in hotel lobbies, elegant spa areas and private residences. It is the choice for those who want their interior to impress with its timeless elegance and artistic character.

Granite
A stone that requires no compromise. It is solid, extremely durable (almost twice as hard as marble) and resistant to everything it may encounter in everyday use. Thanks to its hardness and variety of colours, granite has become one of the most popular materials for both interiors and exteriors. At home, it is perfect for countertops or kitchen islands, as wall cladding, flooring, stairs, window sills, in the garden as an element of small architecture, and on the façade, it will perfectly emphasise the character of the building. It is a safe choice for people who appreciate natural beauty, but also want a material that is resistant to the test of time and the vagaries of the weather.

Quartzite
This stone combines a natural look with exceptional durability. Its surface is almost indestructible, which is why it is a popular choice for designers of kitchens, bathrooms and heavily used commercial spaces. Deep shades and distinctive patterns make each slab look impressive. Thanks to its resistance to moisture, high temperatures, stains, UV radiation and mechanical damage, quartzite works equally well indoors and outdoors.

Onyx
It stands out with its unusual colour and bands forming abstract patterns that look as if they were painted by nature. Its unique feature is its partial light transmission – when illuminated, it creates a spectacular effect that can completely change the character of an interior (a similar result can be achieved with some Avant Quartz quartz surface decors). In a hotel lobby, restaurant or private lounge, an ordinary wall is transformed into a striking installation, reminiscent of a natural work of art.

Travertine
This stone has a warm, natural character and has been used to decorate buildings since ancient Roman times. Its porous structure and subtle shades of beige, brown and cream bring calm and harmony to any interior. Travertine works well in both classic and modern arrangements, including on walls, floors, stairs, countertops, islands and as decorative elements. It is a stone that creates a cosy atmosphere while referring to the rich history of architecture.

Why choose Architype natural stone?
When introducing natural stone, we focus on diversity and the highest quality. Our offer includes materials in a wide range of finishes – from glossy and matte to fashionable leather-like surfaces. Our customers and partners can count on the constant availability of selected decors in stock, which significantly speeds up the implementation of projects. All materials are sourced from trusted suppliers operating in renowned deposits in India, Brazil, Spain, Canada, Turkey, and other regions. Another advantage is the possibility of combining natural stone with Architype's existing range – large ceramic slab, quartz surface, acrylic solid surface and HPL slabs, which allows for the design of coherent and well-thought-out interiors, rich in a variety of textures and finishes.
Each block of stone is a fragment of history written by nature. By introducing marble, granite, quartzite, onyx and travertine to our range, we are opening up new possibilities for our customers to create unique, one-of-a-kind designs that can only be realised once in a given form. Natural stone has been cherished by architects and artists for centuries, and the best proof of its durability are the monuments and buildings that have survived to this day. This is the most reliable and indisputable confirmation of the highest quality of materials.
